Bachelorette Fantasy Recap: Week 1

It was a relatively low-scoring week all told. After all, only one Bachelor was able to score on the first night. But this is merely the calm before the storm - the season preview showed plenty of dramatic, high scoring moments, including confirmed coitus!!! Without further ado, here is your top scorer of the week.

That's right, Chris Harrison scored the most points this week.

Best Individual Performances:

Chris Harrison (20 Points): 

CH was able to rack up a quick twenty points on night one. First informing Ryan M that he was not there for "sincere reasons" before telling the men that he had sent him home because he was "not there for the right reasons."  Check and Check - put CH on the board.

Chris (13 Points):

Much to my surprise, Chris was the most aggressive Bachelor and was able to rack up a ton of quick points by getting both the first makeout session of the season (10 points) and the first rose at the ceremony (3 points).  Will the crazy dentist continue his hot streak, the previews seem to indicate the answer is a resounding yes.

Shawn B (9 Points):

Yes I know that Ben Z technically got more points by dropping a "right reasons" but I wanted to briefly mention Shawn B. He seemed to really hit it off with Kaitlyn and was able to earn the first impression rose (6 points) and a makeout session (3 points). Despite their failure to convert in the past, as the winner of the first impression rose he must be anointed as the early favorite for this season.

Power Ranking the Teams After Week 1:

1) Team Milli (4/5 remaining) -  Despite Ian's relatively disappointing showing, Shawn B's dominant showing and the team's overall undying love for Kaitlyn forces me to bump Milli to the top spot. Ben Z was able to rack up a "right reasons" reference, and that could be a sign of more to come.

2) Team K (4/5 remaining) - With Chris looking like an absolute steal in the third round and the top four picks all in tact Team K is looking strong. Despite not racking up any points, JJ almost had a few and seems poised to both cry and fight before the season is over.

3) Team Wiz (4/5 remaining) - Team is struggling after going all in on Team Britt, so all in to the extent that one member actually left the team before the completion of the rose ceremony. Despite having 4 members left, it seems Hippie Tom Brady (aka Tony the Healer) and Jonathan will be gone quickly. The entire team's hopes probably rest on Tanner (based upon the previews).

4) Team A (3/5 remaining) - Team A gets bumped up a slot based upon a surprisingly strong preview stretch from Joe. It still seems that Cory was a drastic reach at the third spot and Ryan M was a complete bust - how did he not rack up some fighting points!

5) Team E (4/5 remaining) - By far the most disappointing team in Week 1. The first overall pick, Bradley, got zero face time and was sent home quickly and quietly. The only saving grace may have been the last round pick Jared, who somehow was all over the previews.
