The Scoring Controversies:
Right Reasoning Yourself (Tony 2x): Tony dropped a number of bombshell quotes last week including saying that he "can't find happiness via primal instincts." However it was the right-reasoning of himself that caught our eye.
Question: Are you allowed to right reason yourself?
Vote: No 3-0 (2 abstains)
Getting Really, Really Wet Eyes (Tony, JJ Wk 2): This Tony got extremely wet eyes (similar to JJ in week 2). This would have a major point swing for team Wiz as it would have been crying + crying in front of the bachelorette.
Question: Do wet eyes count as crying?
Vote: No 2-1 (2 abstains)
No Rose Ceremony (Everyone): What do we do if she keeps everyone but no roses were handed out? I say yes it counts, as she kept them for another clearly defined week.
Question: Did they get roses?
Vote: Yes - by authority of Wiz
Unsurprisingly, everyone voted "No" on the scoring disputes since it didn't help their team. Moving on to this weeks top scorers...
Weekly Scorecard:
Quick Hits:
- Jared racked up (-5) for poetry reading. I'm betting it will be reciprocated though (for a big 15 points)
- JJ was able to register 8 points despite not making out with Kaitlyn these past two weeks
- NormCore Nick has entered the fray (Team A still has not surpassed Team Undrafted)
- Remember that rose scores increase each week so 3 points for a week 3 rose and 4 points for a week 4 rose, etc.
- There are many scoring debates on make outs, Milli will be reviewing this week
Top Scorers of the Week:
1. Chris (13 Points) - Chris was able to rack up 13 points via Week 3 (3 points) and Week 4 (4 points) roses plus 2 separate make-out sessions (3 points a pop). I thought it was an overall boring but solid two week stretch for Chris. We'll see if he can keep it up in the future.
2. Justin (10 Points) - I had completely forgotten about Justin's strong performance until I went back to my notes and saw that he had not only racked up multiple roses but also gotten involved in the kissing action. I think this is a fluky showing though and one that won't continue.
3. Jared/JJ (8 Points) - Both were able to hit 8 points in unconventional manners. JJ had no make out points but a solid crying showing, while Jared had an identical stat line to Chris, minus 5 points for poetry. I expect these two to be solid scorers going forward.
Power Ranking the Teams:
1. Team K (3/5 Remaining): I'm sliding Team K up into the number one spot after the disastrous previews for Ian and Team Milli this week. I expect somewhat consistent scoring for JJ and Chris the Dentist going forward.
2. Team Milli (4/5): Even if Ian leaves early next week Milli still has Shawn B and Ben Z to rely on, both of whom will probably both make the fantasy suite.
3. Team E (3/5): A surprisingly strong showing from Justin has propped up Team E this week, and Jared should be enough to keep them ahead of Wiz.
4. Team Wiz (3/5): Even with Ben H, I don't expect much out of my team. Tanner and Jonathan should both be going home soon.
5. Team A (1/5): #Joe
